Live URL

The Flaremap JS URL can be optionally enabled to instantaneously update every time a control and/or filter is changed. This Live URL allows users to share an exact view with other users and/or reference a custom configuration simply by clicking on a URL.

To enable Live URL, add the following parameter to the config file and set its value to “on”.

Upon loading an application with the above parameter turned on, the application’s URL will automatically show the current group, size, color, and cell text option. If a cell has been selected (clicked), the URL will also show that cell. Changing a control, selecting a filter, or selecting a cell will automatically update the URL.
