Navbar
The topmost element of the interface is the Navigation Toolbar, or “Navbar.” The Navbar is always visible to the user, even in a brand-new application environment.
An application’s Navbar initially includes three components:
Logo
At the left of the Navbar, organization or project logos are displayed (see section 7.6.2 Look and Feel).
Application Title
The center of the Navbar contains the title of the currently open application. For new applications, this will default to “Visual Action Platform”.
The title of an application can be edited right from within the Navbar. Simply click on the title text to allow editing.
Menu Button
At the right of the Navbar is the Menu button, which opens the main application Menu containing the general utilities for managing settings, accessing tools, and more. The Menu is described in further detail in the next section (6.4 Menu).
Supplemental Information and Utilities
Sometimes, the Navbar contains “widgets,” or supplemental components that provide additional information or controls, such as live update statuses, timers, clocks, data controls, and more. Navbar widgets are typically custom application components, and none are displayed by default.
